Warranty, Refunds and Repairs

At Laher Design, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our bespoke jewellery creations. Our policies are designed to provide clarity and confidence throughout your experience with us.

1. Design Satisfaction

  • Commitment to Excellence: We strive to ensure you are entirely satisfied with your custom-designed jewellery. If, upon receipt, the design does not meet your expectations, please inform us within 30 days. We will collaborate with you to refine the piece until it aligns with your vision.

  • Feedback Process: To enhance the design, we may request specific feedback or additional details. Open communication is vital to achieving the best possible outcome.

  • Refund Policy: If, after collaborative efforts, we are unable to meet your satisfaction, we will offer a refund as a final resolution.

2. Payment Terms

  • Deposits: A deposit is required upon commissioning a custom design. The specific amount will be outlined in the initial agreement.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion, prior to delivery. Failure to settle the balance may result in withholding the finished piece until full payment is received.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Design Adjustments: If the final design does not meet your expectations, we will work with you to make necessary adjustments as detailed in Section 1.

  • High-Value Items: For bespoke orders exceeding (AUD)$15,000, cancellations are not accepted once the order has been initiated. However, we are dedicated to working with you until you are 100% satisfied with the design.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Design Ownership: All custom designs, sketches, images, and concepts created by Laher Design remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

  • Reproduction of Styles: While each piece is unique due to the nature of the stone choices, Laher Design retains the rights to reproduce the same design styles for future pieces. This ensures our creative vision remains an integral part of our brand identity.

5. Resizing, Warranty, and Repairs

  • Complimentary Resizing: We offer free resizing for all purchases, with no limitations on the number of resizes, ensuring your jewellery fits perfectly.

  • Lifetime Warranty: Our lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, or improper use.

  • Comprehensive Care: We are committed to maintaining your jewellery's impeccable condition. Our policy includes necessary repairs to the metal and setting of your bespoke engagement ring, as well as complimentary professional cleaning and polishing at our studio.

  • Gemstone and Diamond Exclusions: Please note, our warranty does not cover damage to gemstones or diamonds, as repairing these requires specialized skills beyond the scope of general jewellery repair.

6. Annual Polish & Stone Check

Every Laher engagement ring comes with lifelong peace of mind. We know how much this piece means to you — so we build it to last, and back it with care.

Each ring includes complimentary annual cleaning and stone checks, forever. Once a year, you can bring your ring into our Sydney studio for a professional ultrasonic clean, a check of the setting and prongs, and a general condition report. It’s a simple way to keep your ring sparkling and secure.

This service is available at no cost and with no expiry. Whether it’s your first year or your fiftieth, we’ll always be here to make sure your ring is looking its best.

And if you’re interstate, we’ll help you coordinate the process via secure courier or recommend trusted jewellers near you — so you’re never without support, no matter where life takes you.
