The term 'polishing' has a brief, unskilled connotation. As in, people understand it to be 'the works done, just to add the final touches'. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Polishing requires some of the most delicate attention and skill to achieve the perfect finish. A series of polishing tools, mops and compounds, make up an intensive buff process. Each preliminary stage must be perfect, otherwise the final clean won't present the ideal polish.
